Cat sponsorship

From time to time CP takes into care cats which have extreme disabilities, infections or are exceptionally nervous after being ill treated by humans. Such cats need to live permanently with their fosterers. The Sponsorship Scheme was set up as a way of funding food and veterinary treatment for these cats. The Scheme provides an ideal opportunity for someone who would love to have a cat at home but cannot because of health, accommodation or other circumstances. In return for a regular contribution, sponsors receive a photograph, a Certificate of Sponsorship and a twice-yearly letter giving details of the cat's progress. We have 3 sponsored cats whose details are shown below:

	BEAU - was found in the grounds of Beauforte Lodge nursing home. He is a very beautiful ginger cat. He is our latest FIV cat and needs sponsors.
	THOMASINA - is our latest cat. She came in with a very bad mouth and she was so ill we thought she had cancer. As she is new, we need sponsors for her.
	MILLIE - came into our care in 2006, and is the newest of our sponsor cats. She was left outside the vets in a box. Millie is blind, and suffers from kidney problems and high blood pressure. She is a lovely black & white cat who deserves a peaceful home in which to be loved and cared for. If you could offer Millie such a home please contact Rita on 01702 467001.

As you can see, they are all very varied but equally deserving. Please think about joining the sponsorship scheme. It is the next best thing to having your own cat and your help however small will help our work and the cat's recovery to a happier life.
