Would you like a cat?
If you can offer one of our rescue cats a home, please call Rita on 01702 710630.
One of our volunteers will then arrange to visit your home.  The visits are necessary to make sure that you
understand your commitments and responsibilities, explain the costs which might can be high - particularly
veterinary expenses, and check that your home is suitable - even if you have had a cat before.
Following the visit, we will suggest cats that might be suitable and, if you
wish, arrange for you to view them at the homes of the fosterers where all
of them live until a home is found.
All of our adult cats are neutered and  most of them are micro-chipped.
However, if you take a kitten you must undertake to have it neutered - we
might be able to help with the cost under our neutering scheme.
We aim to home only healthy cats.  Occasionally it is possible to home cats with known manageable and
treatable  health problems, but only with your consent.  All of our cats are litter-trained, but accidents can
happen when a cat goes into a new home - so please be patient.
Finally, we will ask you to consider making a donation to go towards the costs of rescuing and keeping the
cats.  The amount of the donation, or indeed whether you make a donation at all, will be at your discretion.
