Any help with the following would be greatly appreciated

Items needed

For raffle & tombola: prizes
For the food tombola at forthcoming events: tinned food, biscuits & cakes, sweets etc.,
For sales: good quality bric a brac, unwanted gifts,  craft work, knitted goods, wool, toys, jigsaw puzzles, new toiletries, new cosmetics, and plants.

Cat requisites

For cat care and cat bedding: cat carriers, new litter trays, new cat food dishes, tins of cat food, biscuits/ dry foods; old towels & blankets, sheets & duvet covers, carpet squares.  To donate any of these items please bring them to Mary at 4 Daines Way, Thorpe Bay and leave them at the side of the house in front of the side gate. 

Volunteers at events

Helpers are always needed at events.  Turn up at 9.15 am at the venues for Bazaars & Jumble Sales to help set up.  We also need people to be there at the end to help clear away.  Please contact Florrie on 468884 if you would like to help.

Refreshments

We like to provide refreshments at our events, this benefits everyone, bringing in some extra money for our funds and giving our visitors the chance for a cup of tea and a chat as well as some sustenance. We need  someone to make the tea and serve the food. We hope that Janice, our regular "tea lady" will come back to us when she is fully recovered, but we need someone for the Jumble Sale in October and the two Christmas Bazaars. You will need transport, and to be able to be there reliably on the days we hold the events, usually Saturday mornings. To  talk about what is involved please ring Mary on 01702 584079.

Transport

There is a constant traffic of cats to and from vets. We need people to be on our list in case the regular volunteers are not available. You need transport and a telephone and some free time usually during the day. Please ring Rita on 01702 467001.

Please note - we no longer require jumble.
