Making donations to Cats Protection

Who to contact
We have many fundraising activities, but the income from these does not always keep pace with our expenditure. If
you can make a donation, however small, please send it to our Treasurer, Sarah Hunt at 237 Eastwood Road
North, Leigh-on-Sea, SS9 4ND.  Cheques should be made payable to "Cats Protection Southend and District
Branch".  You can also make donations by standing order - please contact Sarah in the first instance.  Thank you!!

What it costs to run our branch
To help the number of cats we do each year costs approximately £60,000.  With this money we look after about
500 cats and kittens until they are homed.  We also help cat owners in the area with food and litter, arrange for
strays to be neutered and for cats to receive vet treatment.  Last year our vet bill came to over £30,000.

Other ways of providing financial help
Instead of making a donation you could help our finances help by:
  becoming a member of our branch of Cats Protection;
  placing a collection tin in your business premises;
  sponsoring a cat;
  attending our fundraising events; or
  remembering Cats Protection in your Will.
