We are the Southend & District branch of Cats Protection, Britain's oldest
charity solely for the welfare of cats. All our work is carried out by volunteers.
Last year the Southend & District branch helped nearly 1,000 needy cats,
including finding new homes for 343 cats and kittens. Over the same period
we succeeded in re-uniting cats with their owners through our lost & found
register.
We also arrange for cats to be neutered when their owners cannot afford the
cost of the operation - for details, please refer to our neutering scheme.
To join our branch, please download and complete an application form. The
completed form, membership fee and a stamped addressed envelope should
be sent to: Sue Bennett, 60 Maplin Way, Thorpe Bay, Essex, SS1 3NA.
