Who we are ....

We are the Southend branch of Cats Protection, Britain's oldest charity solely for the welfare of cats.  All our work is carried out by volunteers.   Last year the branch helped nearly 1,000 needy cats, including finding new homes for over 300 cats and kittens.   Over the same period we succeeded in re-uniting more than 90 cats with their owners through our lost & found register.

Other things we do.....

We also arrange for cats to be neutered when their owners cannot afford the cost of the operation - for details please refer to our neutering scheme Come along and support our fundraising events that we hold throughout the year.   Alternatively,  you might wish to sponsor one of our cats.
